During the day I support school districts. In the evening and on weekends, when I can, I craft and create. Miss Daisy (most adorable pug ever) is my constant companion, often sleeping and snoring beside me as I work. I have a small studio where I welcome children to teach them crafting and painting techniques. I love the smiles that come when a piece that a child created receives a ribbon at the Local Fair. Sharing the joy of creation and teaching a skill that goes forward in a child's life brings great meaning and propels them forward. The Pocket Music Project, a living art project I started in 2023, puts free harmonicas into the pockets of local, eager children. For some it is just a toy that is tossed aside when the novelty wears off, but for a few, their spirit soars with excitement when they produce magical harmonies, creating mindful connections of curiosity, frequency, and possibilities. To touch a child’s life in a way that propels them into the future with confidence and grace is a profound gift. Remember: We are all perpetual motion, influencing the future now.
